Don't Like the metal ends (on the ointment tube). once you start it it does not stop. Ointment left in cap as well. Liked the plastic-Any chance we can get the plastic tube next time?
Tom Watson
(Answer-the plastic tube was discontinued and we have been, and will continue to search for it to replace the current metal ointment tubes. Sorry for any inconvenience)

Dear Pet Apothecary
Our girl, Judy went to the Bridge on 8-26-11. Our vet came to our house, so the other dogs might understand. She slipped away in my arms, peacefully. She was ready- I could see that. I promised her she would never suffer again-(puppymill) so timid, terrified of a humans touch. She slowly became a member of our family, and my special girl. We attended many "Waddles" -fundraising for Basset rescue. Judy was a star- no leash needed- if I walked away- one could see a red and white head- up, sniffing- to find her Momma. I promised her that we would be hand and paw together- forever. My little one took a big part of me with her- and showed how love could undo the damage a puppymill inflicts. Her fur was so very soft, like a bunny's fur. I miss her every day, and always will. The day we meet again will be full of love and joy. (yes, I believe in afterlife and most of all the Bridge) Thank you so very much for helping Judy. She lived a year after her diagnosis. Her meds went to a no kill shelter in this area, and they are familiar with you and your company. I'm going to show you a few pics of my girl- she was and still is quite the Queen Diva. You know, I never left her for a night- vacations- if the kidz were not welcome, neither were we. Again, my thanks to you. Had to throw in a few other pics- I wish the "boat puppies" one was bigger- they loved vacation. our Toby, the "child eating" dog (lord, he loved his sister Judy)who was rescued at his death appointment. He's very depressed without her. Andy is my "death row" guy- part Basset, part Walker- he can RUN! I couldn't find a good one of Willow our foster failure. She is gorgeous- classic Basset all the way. But Judy is my special one. Her "forever home date is 12-15, her birthday 12-10- she would have been 14.
Again, thank you for making her comfortable, and giving us some extra time to be together.
Pam Mattioda

Dear Friends,
Enjoy your cute jokes on my statement each time you send me Koko’s meds. Koko is a dark sable brown Burmese cat. He was born January 15th 1994. Will be 17 next month or 84 in human years. I will catch up with him in April. We both act the same walk slow, his vision is getting poor (I’m blind in my left eye have macular degeneration and receive injections every other month or so for the last 2&1/2 years. We are quite a pair and our hearing is also the pits. Have hearing aids but rarely wear them. He looks all over whenever I call him so know he can’t hear well either. He is a great source of comfort for me and thank you for supplying his necessary meds. His ears are kind of tilted and he does not care to have one of the cleaned each day. I have been involved with cats ever since I married in 1948. Raised many, many Siamese and showed cats for about 10 years. Member of Rock Valley Cat Club. We had ACFA “big cat shows” in the Rockford Armory. But those days have passed me by a long time ago. Koko is only my 3rd Burmese I’d have to recommend his breed to anyone. Thanks for all your consideration!
Happy Holidays!

To everyone at The Pet Apothecary:
We just wanted to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the services that you provide. You have made our lives so much easier. Before we found always quite a feat to give our little guy medicine. Now that we need to give him medicine on a daily basis, it is a relief to be able to give him the medicine that you prepare. It goes so much smoother giving him a pleasant tasting liquid as apposed to a pill. Thank you not only for the work that you do but also for always being so kind and caring. You really go the extra mile!
With much gratitude,
Jason and Kat Novak (Vinnie’s family) 11/28/2007

We just wanted to send you our special thanks for the warm and caring service that you provided us these past months. Our “baby girl” Emily was laid too peaceful rest on Monday February 20th following her battle with cancer. It was and is a tearful time for us. But thanks to the wonderful caring service of Stoughton Vet Clinic and you, she had seven months longer with us than was expected. You always greeted us with your warm caring way whenever we called for refills. And your cute little jokes on the invoice brought a smile during a difficult time. You guys are the best. We will certainly remember you and recommend you in the future. Many, many thanks!
Sincerely, Emily’s family

Dear Jeff,
Thank you so much for taking time from your busy schedule to talk with me last week. It was very reassuring and I was quite touched that you remember us. Fee sees Dr. Betsy in Randolph and Dr. Heidi Burnett, of the Animal Hospital of Oshkosh. He was scheduled for a dental there on Friday. Dr. Heidi took an x-ray and found that he was quite “impacted”. So more than likely it wasn’t the lactulose, but could be anything from IBS to senior sluggish bowels. At any rate, I know he will appreciate the chicken flavored lactulose! Take care and keep up the great work you do!!
With gratitude and best regards,
Vickie and Fee 11/2007

Hi guys:
What! No Quiz? Happy springtime. Seems nice to look outside and see flowers and not snow. Bella is still doing well. She sleeps with me every night. If I have to get up during the night she slips over to my spot and keeps it warm for me. (what a good girl) Take care

Jeff,
Thank you for the very quick turnaround on the thyroid medication for our cat Doodle. I am happy that I’ve finally found a compounding service that I can count on. I am planning to let my veterinarian at Okemos Animal Hospital know about your great service so that they can share that information with other clients. Also, I am copying this message to my brother, Wayne since he was the person responsible for helping me find you business.
Thanks again and best wished for the holidays!

Jeff and Patti,
Thank you for listening and you T.L.C. (tender loving care). Little NaPali was a wee bit better today with more stability with his legs. We were able to take him outside and he did pee and have some diarrhea, however, he is very lethargic and withdrawal. We do have hope for a miracle though but do not want him to suffer. We are going day by day for now.
Thank you so much again!

Dear Jeff and Staff,
I want to thank you for your kindness and patience with me (the several times I just didn’t “get it” on how to properly give my precious baby the Benazepril) I never was able to use the last bottle that you sent to me as “Buddy, my baby”, just went down hill so quickly that he wouldn’t eat nor take his meds anymore. It breaks my heart to tell you that I had to “put him down”. He was my 1st dog and truly my companion as my children are gone. I will miss him always.
Sincerely,

“The Legend”
There is an old Indian Legend that when a human dies there is a bridge he must cross to enter heaven. At the head of that bridge waits EVERY ANIMAL he’s encountered during his lifetime. The ANIMALS decide which humans cross and which are turned away.☺
